Just after the launch of Swift 3 laptop models in India; Acer launched Aspire 5 magic purple edition with 10th gen. intel core i3 processor. This laptop comes with a model name; A514-53 and one of its design specialities to be mentioned is its 'chameleon effect'.it can visible in different colours when you see the machine from different view angles; just like a chameleon. This laptop comes with LPDDR4 type RAM and it offers a 4GB variant. One RAM slot is available on this laptop and can expand the RAM size up to 12 GB. The laptop runs on 64 bit Windows 10 Home edition.
The laptop runs on one hard disc which is of Hybrid Storage. in the storage side itis equipped with SSD NVMe storage with the integration of 32 GB Intel Optane Memory and QLC NAND storage. Out of the total storage capacity of 2 TB; total solid-state drive capacity is only 512 GB. The blue lights got restricted with a filter type mechanism and it reduces strain due to the blue glare on the eyes of the user. There is also one webcam that gives video output of 1280 x 720 resolution and this will also support video recording at 720p HD.
On connectivity end Aspire 5 Magic purple edition offers wifi 6 connectivity (Intel Wireless Wi-Fi 6 AX201), Bluetooth ver 5, two USB 3.2 Ports, and one USB 3.1 type-c port. This laptop also provides HDMI and one USB 2.0 ports. Aspire 5 is bundled with a 48wh Lithium-Ion three-cell battery which offers 11 hours of battery life on a single charging. A 3 pin 45W AC adapter is provided to charge the laptop.
Acer launched this laptop in India with a price tag of 37,999 (MRP was 55,999).
