The search engine giant of the world launched the latest mid-range smartphone. The pixel branded smartphone ‘Google pixel 4a’ is coming with a punch-hole display and this smartphone has some similar features as in the pixel 4 and this smartphone is considered as a diluted model of Pixel 4. This phone features a new Google assistant and it is loaded with a recording app with realtime transcription support in English. Transcription is a process of extracting words as readable text from the speech or voice; you will get the text of the recording in realtime. It's really interesting right?. This will help a lot of journos and news producers. These transcriptions can seamlessly store and share with the help of google docs.
Unlike the previous models, this pixel comes in a single variant. Instead of the wide notch on the top of the display; google provided a stylish punch hole cut out display. This phone comes with single camera options on both sides. A fingerprint scanner is integrated on the back for added security. Pixel 4a features a 5.81 inch Ful HD plus OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. This crystal clear display offers18.5:9 aspect ratio and HDR support. Also, it provides the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. On the connectivity end, this smartphone offers 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port, and there is one 3.5mm jack for headphone connectivity. Pixel 4a also offers Stereo speakers and dual microphones.
When taking a look at the camera side it features a 12.2 MP sensor with an aperture of f/1.7 with Dual PD autofocus facility, OIS, EIS. Also, it offers 4K video recording at a frame rate of 30fps. This rear camera also having HDR+ support and an LED flash unit. The selfie shooter this smartphone is of 8 Megapixel with an aperture of f/2.0 and it is mounted with an ultra-wide lens for better group selfies. Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor with Titan M security, and the Adreno 618 GPU works in tandem with the CPU gives the blasting game experience. It is coming with a 6 GB RAM which is of LPDDR4X type and offers 128 GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. Please note that there is no option for expanding the storage with a microSD card. If you are getting 128 GB of storage the expansion is not much needed uh?
This google device runs on Android 10 os and is powered by a battery of 3140mAh capacity which supports 18W fast charging. Pixel 4a will be available in India with only 4 G support, but the other 5G variant will be launched soon and it won't be available in India and Singapore. This google's own phone has dimensions of 144x69.4x8.2mm and it weighs just 143 grams. This smartphone is available for pre-order in the US and will be available in India from October 2020 through Flipkart. This google pixel smartphone is expected to come with a price tag of Rs. 26,300.
